Read with the Philly Queer Book Club!

The Philly Queer Book Club is a monthly queer book club in Philadelphia celebrating those who love reading and discussing queer literature. We are hosted at PAT @ Giovanni’s Room, the longest running queer book store in the country.

Whether you simply read along at home, add our books to your “to read” list, or join us in person for one or every meeting, we’re delighted that you're now part of our queer literary community. As a club, we focus on reading and discussing (mostly contemporary) works by queer authors, centering queer lives and  experiences. The Details

by Ia Genberg

From the description, this is a novella  “built around four portraits; the small details that, pieced together, comprise a life. Can a loved one really disappear? Who is the real subject of the portrait, the person being painted or the one holding the brush? Do we fully become ourselves through our connections to others?”

Discussion on Dec 5 at 6 p.m. at PAT @ Giovanni’s Room!
